What's your shade of green?

If you recycle cans and bottles instead of throwing them into the trash (light green) or have solar panels on your roof, compost and drive a hybrid vehicle (dark green!) every earth friendly choice you make, little or big, impacts the environment in a positive way.

If you're confused about all of this "green" talk or how to "go green" you've come to the right place. A good place to start is to calculate your carbon footprint. After asking a series of simple questions, it measures your impact on our climate. Unlike in school, the smaller the number the better!

Please visit the following link to find out your number.

You're encouraged to post your own creative green tips here, ask a question or just post a comment. And rest assured; no trees were killed in the posting of this blog!

Welcome To Our Green Living Blog!

Welcome to DFgreenliving.com and the green living blog! In the coming weeks, you will see some great conversation starters about taking care of our environment, and you are invited to join the conversation by adding your own comments and thoughts.

For now, let's just have a little fun. Here's a cute clip for The Muppet Show--many years ago--before "being green" meant anything other than being the color of Kermit the Frog.

Enjoy!
